Michelle obtained her Bachelor of Political Science with a minor in Public Administration. She also earned a master’s degree in Human Development and Leadership in Education. Michelle is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Prior to joining CIWP, she was previously employed as an Early Start/Transition Service Coordinator supporting regional center clients. Michelle also worked as a Crisis Intervention Specialist intervening for individuals with suicidal or homicide ideation. Michelle has experience with Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Applied Behavior Analysis, and Family Resource Support. Michelle joined the CIWP East Los Angeles team in July 2023 as a TRA Counselor.
