Javier has studied child development, Applied Behavior Analysis, and Crisis Prevention. Javier has worked as an ABA therapist for 2 years and as a Crisis Interventionist since 2016. He has been involved with three different counties working with all demographics and learning about all types of crisis situations. Javier has a passion for helping community members better understand the needs of the special needs population. Javier believes that with compassion and patience, all members of the community can interact with minimal anxiety and animosity towards one another, regardless of their diagnosis or mental state. He is a fluent Spanish speaker and joined the CIWP team in November 2024.
